Hemotype SC Test

• The HemoTypeSC test is a simple, dipstick-style test strip that detects hemoglobins (Hb) A, S, and C simultaneously in a droplet of blood, in just 10 minutes. The test strip delivers distinct, easy-to-comprehend test result readouts for the following Hb types: HbAA, HbAS, HbAC, HbSS, HbSC, and HbCC. The product incorporates highly-specific monoclonal antibodies to the above hemoglobins, and the test is blind to fetal hemoglobin. This means that even newborns with elevated HbF can be confidently screened in the maternity wards, in addition to toddlers, children, and adults.
